Therefore, the multinational has introduced its new RYOBI screwdriver CSD-4030G, the first launched in Europe this multinational 4V battery and 1.5 Ah, and will be marketed in Spain from October 2007.

Anybody ever heard of " HEC" drill presses?

In my local discount store, they regularly sell HEC drill press, 10" table saws, etc. It looks like a german made drill. Looks pretty trick and is only $169.99 brand new. It is belt driven with 5 speed settings. To change the speed, you take the belt off and put it on a smaller or larger pulley. So should I buy a HEC drill press or is it an investment that I will eventually regret. I'm tempted to buy it. Craftsman doesn't have much in the way of drill presses. Also I'm obviously not a contractor who is going to use this drill everyday. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Cool

Your Rigid list-
"The table saw.
The 15" drill press.
The 14" bandsaw.
The spindle sander.
The planer."
-looks like exactly what I need.
I picked up a broken display model craftsman drill press at Sears for $35. I was looking at the other tools and I noticed it sitting off to the side. It looks like it got knocked over and landed on the electrical transformer. I did a bit of repair and shes good as new.
The Rigid does look well made to me. I think my next item is the Rigid band saw with table and dust vac for $349 at Home Depot.

What do you think would be my best bet for dust collection and air filtration? Also what kind of equipment do you think would be essential. Now this is more for recreational purposes not professional wood working. Now I have a table saw, miter saw, radial arm saw, routers/ router table and all kinds of hand tools. I already know I will need. Drill press band saw jointed and a planner, did I miss anything important?

    • For dust management, a dedicated vacuum system, with a pick-up tube near the major points of use.
Wall mounted units work pretty well without using floor space. For fumes, check out a "squirrel cage" exhaust fan.
