This is for the men out there

HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate expensive parts not far from the object we are trying to hit.
MECHANIC'S KNIFE: Used to open and slice through the contents of cardboard cartons delivered to your front door; works particularly well on boxes containing seats and motorcycle jackets.
ELECTRIC HAND DRILL: Normally used for spinning steel Pop rivets in their holes until you die of old age, but it also works great for drilling mounting holes in fenders just above the brake line that goes to the rear wheel

Problem with their stuff

Is they don't do a good job de-burring and cleaning the precision parts before assembly. on a drill press, that's not too critical, but in the jointer, you might have problems with the big adjusting screws wearing out or binding. if you know you can totally tear it down, clean, de-burr, grease and reassemble before you first use it, and they didn't give you broken parts, you can end up with an ok tool. is your time and the total lack of customer service worth the price difference?
I'd go with a Rigid (about $375 new), as they seem to be doing a good job of ripping off Delta for a fraction of the price.

They carry different quality levels

The bottom level is often useless.
Their industrial level works pretty good for homeowners.
The store provides a good opportunity to see the tools in person.
If you are doing any production level work then buy a solid pro quality name brand.
I have:
1. a compressor - very pleased it runs a family of HF air tools.
2. compact drill press - very pleased
3. 4" X 36" bench belt sander - I beat the shit out of it and had to replace the motor, running almost 20 years now. (yes they sell spare parts)

Stop with the dumb a$$ answers I just whant to know the name of the f****** tools used to make them nothing else

    • So all in all you are wanting to become a gunsmith/ machinist? I cant type every tool you need there is soo much that it would take hours to type it all. Start off by taking a 24 month gun smithing class.

I plan on getting into gunsmithing after high school. Ive looked at a few cl …l blank just to name a few parts its a 24 month class and they teach you everything you need to know. While learning how to do this you will also learn what tools are needed to do the job and how to use them.

But you arent going to be making and customized gun stores anytime soon.
