I found their stuff better than the really cheap

Stuff you get at Walgreens, or 99-cent stores. Remember that even Craftsman tools are made in China. It depends on the standard of quality of the contracting party. A Craftsman made in China has to pass the same scruitiny as one made in Cincinnati or Illinois. If you are picky about where tools are made, look for used tools on CL or eBay. I bought all kinds of floor machines like drill presses, sanders, grinders, etc. then replaced some parts. Bought a 15" floor drill press by Craftsman for $60 then bought a new Jacobs 5/8" chuck on eBay for $49. The machine is like new. Bought a 6 1/8" planer from CL listing for $25 then bought new blades for $18

I love Harbor Freight but then I'm a Scrounger

My brother in law does general constuction for a living and somebody follows him home from a job site about once a year and breaks into his truck to rob his tools. He's into HarborFreight (HF) too theses days. If something breaks he can stop at HF and pick up a replacement that day NBD. What good is a high end tool that lasts forever costs a fortune and comes with legs.
How good are HF cheap tools. I took my $75 drill press and bolted it to a home-made base and used it as a mixer, made enough thinset to lay 600 SQ FT of ceramic floor and underlayment. I beat the shit out of it and it's back in the workshop and working fine

Dude I'm not some random idiot trying to make some home made weponds I'm a 12 year USMC Vet I know alot about guns and I was plan on making a customized gun store
Stop with the dumb a$$ answers I just whant to know the name of the f****** tools used to make them nothing else

    • So all in all you are wanting to become a gunsmith/ machinist? I cant type every tool you need there is soo much that it would take hours to type it all. Start off by taking a 24 month gun smithing class.

I plan on getting into gunsmithing after high school. Ive looked at a few cl …l blank just to name a few parts its a 24 month class and they teach you everything you need to know. While learning how to do this you will also learn what tools are needed to do the job and how to use them.

But you arent going to be making and customized gun stores anytime soon.

Oct 10, 2007 by nudayent | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs

I need to rebuild the carburetor on my riding mower. Have you done one before? Is it easy? Does it come with directions? Do i need special tools? Im pretty handy. Should I just pay someone else to do it? Can i just take the carburetor in, rather than the whole mower?

    • THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH A LAWN MOWER CARBURETOR IS A DIRTY NEEDLE AND SEAT.

IF YOU REMOVE THE FUEL BOWL YOU CAN JUST TAKE IT OUT AND CLEAN IT WITH LIKE BRAKE CLEANER IN A SPRAY CAN AND REINSTALL IT.

IT WILL LOCATED NEXT TO THE FLOAT, GIVE IT A TRY BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE.

      GOOD LUCK
