Oh, honey, you haz no ideer. The first floor

Model bandsaw I looked at, was like $7,000.
Yipes.
And the first drill press was like $4,500.
Double yipes.
As for used, yeah, I could probably get them cheaper, but who knows how long they'd last? The ones I'd like to get, I think I saw them on the Ace Hardware, and Lowe's sites, respectively.
Initially, I don't care so much about brand-name, as either one should last me at least a year. That'll be time and profit enough, to think about a second loan, to maybe set up a store front and/or build a workshed and buy some good ones.

  • Avatar Marco Why is there such disparity between Crude and Brent oil prices?
Feb 15, 2009 by Marco | Posted in Investing

On Friday’s close, London Brent was trading at $45.17 and New York’s WTI at $37.07 a barrel. That equates to a difference of over $8 or, in other words, Brent is trading at almost 22% higher than WTI.

One would have thought the market fundamentals for both would be relatively the same. Hence, why the large difference in price?

Are they being fined, or penalized for this crisis they created?

    • FOREVER!

The reality is people are apathetic and don't do much unless the disaster threatens them or their immediate family.

We have to start making the difference by electing people who are not going to take a penny from an OIL company lobbyist and are 100% commi … and they all have participated in disasters that will have long term ramifications for our people and planet earth.

They (BIG OIL) are not going to do what is necessary to fix these problems or change their methods until the public collectively stands up and dictates that change.
